Ananda hotel is a beautiful hotel located right in the heart of Cartagena! From there you can literally walk anywhere without problems or order a taxi if you wish. My husband and I stayed there 3 nights and except for our first night where the AC shut off (possibly due to the weather), we had very comfortable nights there. They were quick to listen to our request for room change and not to mention the staff was amazing! Very hospitable and friendly! Also, the massages here were so good! The breakfast was also great, better than the other hotels we stayed at. Would love to come back here if we go back to visit Cartagena!

Location was key, and the hotel is very pretty. Two pools are beautiful and we never had trouble finding a lounge chair (we visited in August). Our room was huge although I must admit the space downstairs felt a bit waisted. The bathrooms could use a bit of a refresh (some cracking at the edges), but it was great to have two bathrooms! Bed linens and bed was great. My only qualm was the AC unit had a bright blue light that shown very strong in the dark, so if you have trouble sleeping, bring an eye mask!

Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool – amazing views and we always had the space to ourselves. The staff was incredibly friendly (shout out to Lillibeth in the restaurant) and took great care of us. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff were super nice and very accommodating—we truly felt like VIPs the entire time. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the food at the Vedana Restaurant was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this hotel. 10/10!

They also spoke English well which is always helpful. I didn't end up having time to use the pool but it looked really nice. I really enjoyed the arepa at breakfast.
